  Newly installed lead is bright
  and shiny, as can be seen in
  some of the photos on our site.
  Once exposed to the elements
  it will darken to the colour we
  are all familiar with. This
  weathering process normally
  takes a few weeks.
  Lead is fixed to the outside
  surface of glass, hence it can
  be used on single or double
  glazed windows.
  Our lead is backed with an
  adhesive which is virtually
  invisible. This ensures that
